Amazon Xplor is a luxury jungle hotel at the mouth of the Arirarrá River, about 105 km from Barcelos in the far north of Amazonas — the upper Rio Negro region renowned for trophy peacock bass fishing. It runs as an all-inclusive operation with 7-day packages (6 fishing days) departing from Manaus, including a 4-star hotel overnight, a chartered Manaus–Barcelos flight and a 1h20 boat transfer to the lodge.

Guests stay in 14 air-conditioned double chalets built in 2022, with spacious bathrooms, artesian-well hot water, mini-fridge and EKO7 mattresses. The property has a pool, TV room, restaurant, all-inclusive bar and Wi-Fi in common areas, with full board and lunch served either at the hotel or as a beach barbecue.

Fishing is done from 17-foot Mega Bass boats with Mercury 115hp and 70 lb electric trolling motors, fitted with livewells, coolers and Moro Deconto lures, run by professional native guides trained under Eribert Marquez. The target is speckled peacock bass in isolated blackwater lagoons, with redtail catfish, piraíba and arowana among the regional catches. Season runs September to February, during the Rio Negro low-water period.
