Pousada Adventure

Pousada Adventure sits on a stretch of the Teles Pires riverbank in the municipality of Sinop, northern Mato Grosso, and operates as a fixed-base lodge for 3-day sport fishing trips on the river. The Teles Pires is one of the region's flagship rivers for sport fishing, with high species diversity — from the fire peacock bass (Cichla mirianae) to pirarucu, plus matrinxã, payara (cachorra), pike characin (bicuda), wolffish (traíra), pacu, and the big catfish trophies of the lower Teles Pires.

The property has 12 double suites with split AC, private bathroom with glass-shower stall and electric heater, free Wi-Fi, a large open-air gourmet area with a brick barbecue and communal table, two swimming pools, and a riverside deck. Service includes daily housekeeping and table waitstaff at near-boutique standard, with manicured lawns, palms and desert-rose planters framing the sunset over the river.

Fishing runs from standardized boats — wide twin casting platforms, swivel seats, outboard motor, cooler, life-vest kit — with the critical ratio of **one guide for every two anglers**. Unlimited fuel and live bait are bundled in, supporting long runs and full-day fishing without rationing. Personal tackle is on the angler.

The board plan is fully inclusive: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks — Original and Heineken beers, cachaça caipirinha, Campari, soft drinks (regular and zero), still and sparkling water. Fish is served at the lodge from local supply; the fishing is 100% catch-and-release.

The itinerary is fixed at 5 days / 4 nights: arrival after 2 pm on D1 (no fishing that day), fishing on days 2, 3 and 4, departure after breakfast on D5. The package does not include airfare or ground transfer from Sinop airport — both arranged separately by the guest.
